Father, I come before your throne in Jesus name, thanking you for what I have and what you have done for me. It is easy to complain about the things that are not going right or isn't smooth but doing so won't bring me peace. Dwelling on what I don't have won't make me smile, nor will it move the mountains in my life. So, I come to thank you for allowing me to wake up and see life one more time. I am grateful for your love, protection, and guidance. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and trying me one more time. Thank you for the food I have to eat, the roof over my head, the use of my limbs, and the ability to breathe. Thank you for keeping my children safe; though they are fighting their own battles, I know you will bring them out. Thank you for the mind to desire to serve and love you. I know I don't get right at times, but you always allow me to get it right.
You see the setbacks, and I know you are tending to them and guiding me through it all, and I thank you for it. No matter the situation, you have always been good to me, even when I don't deserve it or agree with the outcome..I know it's for my good. Father, please continue to be the soft still voice that calms the storms in my mind and emotions. Let me be grateful for all things while in the valley and on the mountain top. Let thanksgiving always be found on my lips.
Thank you for hearing my prayer. Thank you for being an amazing and just God. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. Thank you for loving me enough to bring me out of the dark hole you found me in. Thank you for blessing my life. Thank you for your love. I pray you will continue to be on my side forever. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
